APPLICATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE ORHUN EXCHANGE PROGRAM
2026/2027 Academic Year – Fall and Spring Semesters
(Student and Academic Staff Mobility)
Within the framework of the Orhun Exchange Program, which is carried out among the member universities of the Union of Turkic Universities (TURKUNIB) under the Organization of Turkic States, applications are invited from Associate Degree, Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral students who wish to study for one semester during the Fall or Spring Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Year, as well as from academic staff members who wish to conduct teaching and/or academic activities under the program.
• Announcement and application period: 26 February 2026 – 23 March 2026
• Announcement of general results by the Coordinating University: 20 April 2026
Students:
• Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral students (for either the Fall or Spring semester, with a single-semester preference)
Academic Staff:
• Academic staff members planning to teach courses and/or conduct academic activities (seminars, panels, conferences, etc.) at the host institution
For Student Mobility:
• Student Information Form
• Official Transcript
• A Turkish or English language certificate at B1 level or above, depending on the language of instruction of the relevant department/program
For Academic Staff Mobility:
• Academic Staff Information Form
• Academic Staff Mobility Program Form (Activity Plan)
• Applicants may choose only one university and only one semester (Fall or Spring).
• All documents must be completed electronically. The application will be considered complete once the signed and scanned forms are submitted to orhun@bartin.edu.tr.
• Minimum application requirement for students: a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50/4.00.
• Applicants are required to check the department/program and quota information announced by the member university they intend to apply to.
• According to the program regulations, the mobility period may be a minimum of one semester and a maximum of two semesters; however, the total duration may not exceed one academic year.
• During the mobility period, Orhun Exchange students remain enrolled at their home university. Tuition fees and related financial obligations continue to be fulfilled at their home institution in accordance with program regulations.
• Bartın University does not provide grant or financial support to participating students or academic staff.
Applications shall be submitted to the Institutional Coordination Office of the Orhun Exchange Program at Bartın University.
Following the completion of the application period, applications will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures of the Coordinating University, and the results will be announced according to the relevant schedule.
Note: Final placement and admission procedures are carried out in accordance with the allocation decisions of the Coordinating University and the admission decisions of the host universities.
